Venezuelan Mini Arepas

I was taught by my Venezuelan friend how to make these authentic delicious arepas. Oh and they are naturally vegan! 🙂 This goes great with Guacamole

Ingredients (Serves about 2 people double it for more)

Mix corn meal and water together equal parts till it forms a soft moldable dough. Roll into small balls and flatten to about 1/2 in thick

Heat pan with few tbsp oil on medium heat and place the arepas into pan.

Cook on each side for a few minutes till golden brown.

Then slice open and serve with Guacamole

The ratio for corn and water is about the same so you can use however much of the corn meal you want, it doesn’t need to be a specific amount! 🙂
