Moist Yogurt Banana Bread

This recipe is oil and butter free for a healthy super moist banana bread.

  • 4 overripe bananas
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Handful chopped nuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mash bananas in large bowl and mix in egg, yogurt, vanilla extract & sugar really well.
  3. In another bowl mix flour, baking soda, salt & cinnamon.
  4. Fold in the dry ingredients into wet ones but don’t over mix.
  5. Place in buttered baking dish, I used 9×9, sprinkle with chopped nuts and cinnamon. Bake 35 to 40 min.
  6. Top with a few tbsp butter if you want it extra moist on top.
