I love biscuits and these are a healthy alternative to white flour biscuits!
Ingredients:
- 2.5 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 Heaping Tbsp baking powder
- 1 Heaping Tbsp honey/agave or sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Preheat oven to 450
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt together then add in honey and buttermilk.
- Pour melted butter on bottom of baking dish and place biscuits in dish over butter
- Bake for 25 minutes and serve hot!
