Whole Wheat Buttermilk Biscuits

I love biscuits and these are a healthy alternative to white flour biscuits!

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1 Heaping Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Heaping Tbsp honey/agave or sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Preheat oven to 450
  • Mix flour, baking powder and salt together then add in honey and buttermilk.
  • Pour melted butter on bottom of baking dish and place biscuits in dish over butter
  • Bake for 25 minutes and serve hot!
