For the Blackberry Mixture
- Few cups of blackberries
- Half lemon juiced
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp flour
- Dash salt
Crumble Mixture
- 2 cups flour
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup butter room temp
- Dash salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- Heat blackberries on stove with sugar on low heat for about 10 minutes and partially smash them. ( I used an immersion blender to blend half of them or so)
- Add in lemon juice, flour & salt. Continue to cook for a few more minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375. Prep crumble by adding flour, salt, sugar, baking powder together. Cut in cold butter and then add in vanilla, apple cider vinegar & egg.
- Press half crumble onto sprayed baking dish 8×8 and pour blackberry mixture on top. Top with remaining crumble. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
