Best Blackberry Crumble

For the Blackberry Mixture

  • Few cups of blackberries
  • Half lemon juiced
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • Dash salt

Crumble Mixture

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup butter room temp
  • Dash salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  1. Heat blackberries on stove with sugar on low heat for about 10 minutes and partially smash them. ( I used an immersion blender to blend half of them or so)
  2. Add in lemon juice, flour & salt. Continue to cook for a few more minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 375. Prep crumble by adding flour, salt, sugar, baking powder together. Cut in cold butter and then add in vanilla, apple cider vinegar & egg.
  4. Press half crumble onto sprayed baking dish 8×8 and pour blackberry mixture on top. Top with remaining crumble. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
